Linknector Inc. ("Linknector," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Linknector marketplace and related website, applications, accounts, communications, booking, provider, partner, administrative, payment and financial functions.

2. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Linknector collects, uses, discloses, protects, retains and otherwise handles personal information in connection with the Linknector website, Application, accounts, service requests, bookings, provider operations, partner organization interactions, customer support, communications and related services.
This Policy applies to Customers, Providers, Partner Organizations and other individuals who interact with Linknector. Internal Administrator access is governed by Linknector's internal security and privacy procedures as well as applicable law.
Linknector's Canadian launch is designed to support applicable Canadian privacy requirements, including PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy legislation. The laws that apply to a particular person, transaction or jurisdiction depend on the circumstances.
3. Information We Collect
Account and contact information: name, email address, mobile number, password-related authentication information, verification status, profile photo, preferred language, account status, dates of account activity and related identifiers.
Provider and Partner information: business name, business type, service categories, business profile information, verification information, approval status, uploaded verification documents and other information required to evaluate or administer the account.
Service and booking information: service requests, selected categories and services, booking details, scheduling information, service-related location or address information supplied for a request or booking, communications, reviews, ratings, complaints and support interactions.
Payment and financial information: transaction identifiers, payment status, payment method metadata, tokenized payment references, receipts, refunds, taxes, commissions, settlement records, invoices, statements and reconciliation information. Linknector does not store raw cardholder data; card payments are handled by a PCI-DSS-compliant third-party payment processor.
Authentication and security information: login events, verification events, password-reset events, account status, security events, IP address and other technical information used to secure accounts and investigate abuse or incidents.
Device and technical information: browser or application information, device information, operating-system information, network information, approximate technical location information where supplied by the device or necessary for security, and usage/log information.
Communications and content: messages, files or other material you submit through Linknector, customer-support communications, feedback, reviews and other content you choose to provide.
Cookies and similar technologies: information generated by essential session/security technologies and, where implemented, analytics or other optional technologies.
4. How We Use Personal Information
- To create and administer accounts, verify email/phone information, authenticate users, manage sessions and provide role-based access.
- To operate the marketplace, including service discovery, Link My Need, requests, provider matching, bookings, scheduling, communications and customer support.
- To verify and administer Providers and Partner Organizations, including business review, approval, document review, trust and safety functions and fraud prevention.
- To process, confirm and administer payments and related financial records, including taxes, commissions, settlement, refunds, invoices, statements and reconciliation.
- To protect users and Linknector from fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, security incidents and other harmful activity.
- To maintain audit records, investigate complaints and disputes, enforce platform rules and comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting and law-enforcement obligations where applicable.
- To improve reliability, functionality, accessibility, security and user experience, subject to applicable privacy requirements and reasonable purposes.
- To send service, transactional, security and administrative communications. Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable consent and electronic-message requirements.
5. Consent and Lawful Collection
Where consent is required, Linknector will seek meaningful consent appropriate to the sensitivity and context of the information. You may withdraw consent where permitted by law, subject to legal or contractual limitations and the consequences of withdrawal.
Some collection, use or disclosure may occur without consent where permitted or required by law, including for certain legal, security, fraud-prevention, contractual, regulatory or investigative purposes.
Linknector aims to limit collection to information reasonably necessary for identified purposes and to explain those purposes at or before collection where required.
6. How We Share Information
Service Providers and technology vendors: Linknector may use third parties to provide hosting, database, authentication, communications, analytics, payment processing, security, document storage, customer support and other infrastructure. These vendors are expected to protect information appropriately and to use it only for authorized purposes.
Payment processors: payment details required to complete a transaction may be provided directly to the selected payment processor. Linknector is designed not to store raw cardholder data.
Users and marketplace participants: information may be shared with another participant when reasonably necessary to provide a requested service, facilitate a booking, communicate about an engagement, process a transaction or administer the platform.
Professional advisers: information may be disclosed to lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers and other professional advisers where reasonably necessary.
Legal and safety disclosures: information may be disclosed where required or permitted by law, court order, regulatory process, fraud investigation, security investigation or to protect rights, property or safety.
Corporate transactions: information may be transferred or disclosed as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets or similar transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
Linknector does not sell personal information in exchange for money.
7. International and Cross-Border Processing
Some service providers or infrastructure may process or store information outside the province or country in which you reside, including outside Canada. Where this occurs, information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.
8. Payment Information
Linknector does not store raw cardholder data. Card payments are processed through a PCI-DSS Level 1-compliant third-party payment processor, and Linknector handles only tokenized payment references.
Linknector may retain transaction, receipt, tax, refund, settlement, invoice, statement, reconciliation and audit information necessary to operate the platform and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute requirements.
The payment provider, its terms and the supported payment methods are presented to you when you make a payment.
9. Data Retention
Linknector retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes identified in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Financial and transaction records may be retained for longer periods where required for tax, accounting, audit, fraud-prevention, dispute, legal or regulatory purposes.
Account or other information may be deactivated, anonymized or deleted when no longer required, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute and financial-record obligations.
10. Security Safeguards
Linknector is designed around least privilege, role-based access control, encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, session controls, audit logging, rate limiting, brute-force protection, secure payment processing and controlled access to sensitive records.
Passwords are designed to be securely hashed and not stored in plain text. Authentication events and significant security events may be logged for security and audit purposes.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Linknector will maintain safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and will review and improve safeguards as risks and technology evolve.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Linknector may use cookies, local storage, session technologies and similar mechanisms necessary for authentication, security, preferences and core functionality.
If optional analytics, advertising or other tracking technologies are deployed, Linknector will provide the notices, choices and consent mechanisms required by applicable law.
Browser settings may permit you to block or delete some cookies, but doing so may affect functionality.
12. Marketing and Electronic Communications
Service and transactional messages may be sent where necessary to provide the requested service, administer an account, process a transaction or address security or operational matters.
Commercial electronic messages will be sent in accordance with applicable law, including applicable consent, identification and unsubscribe requirements. Marketing preferences can be changed through the available unsubscribe or account controls.
13. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may request access to personal information Linknector holds about you, information about how it is used or disclosed, and correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
You may also request withdrawal of consent or deletion/deactivation of information where legally available. Deletion is not absolute where Linknector is required or permitted to retain information for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute or other lawful purposes.
Requests should be directed to the privacy contact identified in Section 1. Linknector may need to verify identity before responding.
14. Privacy Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, contact Linknector first using the contact information in Section 1. Linknector will investigate and respond in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
Where applicable, individuals may also have the right to bring a complaint to the relevant privacy regulator, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or an applicable provincial privacy authority.
15. Children's Privacy
Linknector is intended for users who are legally able to enter into the applicable service agreement. The platform is not designed for children to create independent marketplace accounts.
If applicable law imposes a different age threshold or additional consent requirement, Linknector will comply with that requirement.
16. Third-Party Websites and Services
Linknector may contain links to third-party websites, payment pages, service providers or other external services. Those third parties have their own privacy practices. Linknector is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties that it does not control.
Payment and other external services may require you to review and accept their own terms and privacy notices.
17. Changes to This Policy
Linknector may update this Policy to reflect changes in the platform, law, vendors, data practices or security controls. The revised version will be posted through an appropriate Linknector channel with an updated effective date.
Where required by law, Linknector will provide additional notice or obtain consent before implementing material changes.
